LEWISTON - Lucienne L. Latouche, 89, of Sabattus passed away in Lewiston on Thursday, June 15, at The Marshwood Center. She was born in Lewiston on September 22, 1927, a daughter of the late Odilon and Roseana (Dallaire) Fortier. Lucienne attended local schools. She was married in Lewiston at St. Peter's Church to Roland Latouche. They remained happily married until his death in 2001. She worked first at The Bleachery as a millworker, then later at Rockwell International as a screening technician until her retirement in 1976. Lucienne was a member of Our Lady of...

LEWISTON - Lucienne L. Latouche, 89, of Sabattus passed away in Lewiston on Thursday, June 15, at The Marshwood Center. She was born in Lewiston on September 22, 1927, a daughter of the late Odilon and Roseana (Dallaire) Fortier. Lucienne attended local schools. She was married in Lewiston at St. Peter's Church to Roland Latouche. They remained happily married until his death in 2001. She worked first at The Bleachery as a millworker, then later at Rockwell International as a screening technician until her retirement in 1976. Lucienne was a member of Our Lady of The Rosary Catholic Parish in Sabattus. She enjoyed gardening and bird watching. She most of all enjoyed her time spent with her grandchildren, for she was known as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Lucienne is survived by her four children, Anita Lavoie and husband, Gerard, of Auburn, Ronald Latouche and significant other, Dionne, of Dixfield, Donald Latouche of Sabattus, and Elaine Clukey and significant other, David Pelchat, of Hebron; seven grandchildren, Nicole, Cathy, John, Jessica, Jerrick, Rae-Anne and Jason; seven great-grandchildren; and her sister, Rita Caron of Auburn. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Roland; her twin brother, Lucien Fortier; and four other brothers: Lionel, Robert, Joseph and Archie Fortier.

Graveside services will be held on Friday June 23, 2017 (9:30am) at St. Peter's Cemetery in Lewiston.
