DAVENPORT, FL---Robert M. Levesque, Sr., 68, of Jeremy Drive died Saturday December 9, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Lewiston, Maine on April 27, 1949 the only son and youngest child of Amedee and Viola (Petrin) Levesque. On September 25, 1971 Robert married the love of his life Mildred (Foster) Levesque. Together they resided in Lewiston, Maine where they raised their three sons. Robert was an employee of Penmor Lithographers until 1998 when he relocated with his wife to Florida.
Robert enjoyed playing guitar and was a member of the band, The Uniques, in the 60's. The band was known for Saturday's nights at The Pal Hop and this is where Robert met the love of his life.
Robert was a devoted father who spent many nights helping with science projects, Halloween costumes and sometimes experiments just for fun. He was known for his creativity and unique gardening skills. He was Cub Master of Pack 116 at Holy Cross. His most quoted phrase is "Don't tell your mother about this."
Robert devoted his life to helping others, always the handyman you could count on. He was a man of few words but a person of many kind gestures. He cherished his family and loved nothing more than the time they all spent together.

Robert is survived by his wife of 46 years, Mildred Levesque, his sons; Robert Levesque, Jr. and his wife Cathy of Wales Maine, BoJon Levesque and his wife Lindsey of Davenport, Florida, and Jeremy Levesque and his wife Yuriko of Windermere, Florida.
