Auburn; Yvette R. Gousse 99, formerly of Lincoln St. died peacefully in her sleep on Saturday September 9, at Odd Fellows Home in Auburn. She was born in Lewiston on May 19, 1918 a daughter of the late Ludger and Laura (Ouellette) Beaulieu. She was educated in local schools and worked for several years in local shoe shops. Yvette was a member of the former St. Mary's Church. All who knew her fell in love with Yvette, she was a proud and gentle lady. Her entire life was all about family and friends. She loved...

Auburn; Yvette R. Gousse 99, formerly of Lincoln St. died peacefully in her sleep on Saturday September 9, at Odd Fellows Home in Auburn. She was born in Lewiston on May 19, 1918 a daughter of the late Ludger and Laura (Ouellette) Beaulieu. She was educated in local schools and worked for several years in local shoe shops. Yvette was a member of the former St. Mary's Church. All who knew her fell in love with Yvette, she was a proud and gentle lady. Her entire life was all about family and friends. She loved to cook and entertain.

Yvette is survived by her two sons, Donald Gousse and wife Joyce of FL and Daniel Gousse and wife Diane of Wales, six grandchildren: Sue, Mike, Jeff, Jason, Chris and Will, seven great grandchildren a great-great granddaughter, a special daughter Sandra Brunick and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Lucien A. Gousse in 1959, her two brothers, Roland and Roger Beaulieu, and her sister Carmen Morin.

Visitation Fortin Lewiston Friday Sept. 15, from 10-11 AM. A celebration will follow at 11 AM at the funeral home. Committal will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery.
